This weekend, we had the privilege of sponsoring the Louth Business Women of the Year Awards — including the Prosecco reception (because yes, women bring the sparkle and the substance).
There are many reasons I wanted FACE Credit to be part of this.
But the simplest is this: we believe in women.
We believe in the potential, the resilience, the creativity, the tenacity.
We believe in putting our money where our mouth is — not just saying we support women in business, but actually showing up and doing it.
I’ve watched Nicola Connolly Byrne – Professional Speaker the current president of the Louth branch, lead with purpose and vision. She’s a friend, but more than that, she’s someone I believe in. When women like Nicola step up, we should back them — and I’m proud that we did.
The room was full of incredible businesswomen — each one with a different story, a different path, and a shared strength.
It gave me energy. It gave me joy.
And as always, it gave me ideas — because spaces like this inspire me to build FACE Credit better, braver, and bolder.
Let’s be honest — women in business face challenges that are different.
Not better. Not worse. Just different.
And I understand those differences.
So where and when I can, I will always show up.
Because if we want real progress, it starts with action — and with each of us doing what we can, where we are.
To all the women in that room: you’re raising the bar and raising each other.
I see you. I support you. And I’ll keep doing my bit.
